Most of the time, by the time a symptom shows up, the nervous system has already been struggling for a while. Symptoms are the last thing to arrive and the first thing we try to fix. We think that is backwards.

Your nervous system controls everything. Digestion. Immune function. Sleep. Hormonal balance. Literally every function in your body. How your body adapts to stress. It is the master controller, and when something is off there, your body cannot function optimally.

At Homegrown, we use INSiGHT nervous system scanning technology because we want to understand the root of what is happening in your body or your child's body before we do anything else. These scans are safe, painless, and take just a few minutes. They work for every member of your family, from brand new babies to grandparents, and they give us something most practices never look at: real, measurable data on how your nervous system is actually functioning.

Discover Our Scans

A graph chart depicting autonomic activity with a color gradient from red to green, divided into four quadrants labeled Z1 to Z4, and a central oval area labeled Z5. The Y-axis measures autonomic activity, and the X-axis measures autonomic balance from sympathetic to parasympathetic. The chart includes a white circle near the left middle section, over the Y-axis value of approximately 80 and X-axis value of about 30. The bottom shows indices: autonomic activity at 78.15 and autonomic balance at 44.97.

Heart Rate Variability (HRV)

Your nervous system was built to move — to ramp up, settle down, and recover. HRV measures exactly how well it does that. Specifically, it captures the balance between your sympathetic nervous system (your body's gas pedal — the drive, the energy, the response) and your parasympathetic nervous system (the brake pedal — the calm, the recovery, the rest). You need both working in harmony to function at your best.

Think of your HRV score as a reading of how much fuel is left in the tank. When stress accumulates over time without enough recovery, that reserve runs low. This scan gives us a clear picture of where your nervous system is starting from — and what it needs most.

NeuroThermal Scan

Your autonomic nervous system quietly manages more than most people realize: digestion, immunity, hormone balance, sleep, circulation. It also regulates the temperature along your spine — and when it's under stress, that regulation becomes uneven.

This scan reads those thermal patterns. Asymmetry along the spine is your nervous system signaling that something is off. Think of it like a fuse box: when one fuse is blown, the circuit to that room goes dark. This technology shows us exactly which "rooms" — the organs and functions your brain communicates with through those pathways — may not be receiving a clear signal.

NeuroMotor Scan

The muscles running along your spine are in constant conversation with your nervous system. When that system is under chronic stress, those muscles hold on — staying activated when they should be at rest, pulling unevenly, bracing against tension that may have been there for years.

This scan measures the electrical activity in those muscles, revealing where your body is guarding, where the communication between your brain and body has become disrupted, and where your nervous system needs the most support to return to balance.

Why Everyone Needs Our INSiGHT Nervous System Scan

Ever wonder what's actually going on inside your nervous system — not just how you feel on the surface, but what's really happening beneath it? That's exactly what our INSiGHT scanning technology shows us.

The INSiGHT scan is non-invasive, completely painless, and safe for everyone — from newborns to adults. In just a few minutes, it gives us an objective, data-driven picture of how your nervous system is truly functioning. No guessing. No going off symptoms alone. Just real measurements that guide every decision we make in your care.

It's made up of three individual scans that work together to give us a complete picture of your nervous system — and it's one of the things that sets neurologically-focused chiropractic care apart from every other approach.

At Homegrown, we believe you deserve to know your starting point, see your progress, and understand exactly why we're recommending what we are. The INSiGHT scan makes that possible.

Your Results Are Just the Beginning

We scan before we ever adjust. Understanding your nervous system isn't a bonus step, it's the foundation everything else is built on. When we sit down to review your results together, this isn't a quick handoff. We walk through what each scan is showing, what it means for your family, and what a care plan built specifically around your nervous system looks like. We bring your results together with what you're experiencing day-to-day and what you're working toward, so the plan we build is yours, not a template.

Throughout your care, we re-scan. You'll be able to see how your body is responding, adapting, and changing over time, not just feel it, but see it. This isn't about chasing symptoms. It's about understanding your body deeply enough to support it the way it was always designed to be supported and helping you reach every goal you came in with.
